Upcoming March Events!
Greetings fellow adventurers!
Recently I gave a presentation on "William Roach's Lost Mines" to the Rialto Historical Society. It was such a pleasure and a nostalgic time for all! The members of the historical society were so warm and inviting. We shared many stories over pizza and coffee. They also gave me a wonderful tour of their museum. It brought back great memories and each room had a story to tell.
If you are interested in seeing one of my presentations I will be at the Mousely Museum in Yucaipa, CA on March 1st, 2025 at 1pm. Since my "Single Mom Six Kids & A Piano" books take place in Yucaipa in the 60’s, we will go back in time to the dairy drive thru (which still exists) and the largest pickle barrel ever seen in the old Oak Glen shops. Then we will begin adventuring through our local surrounding mines, revisit William Roaches Canyon, and help answer any questions about mining you may have. As a bonus, we will check out points of interest in Beaumont and Banning as well.
Tighten your boots, throw on your pack, and let’s have fun!
